Daniel

As he walked his dog down the street Daniel introduced himself to me to congratulate me for standing in our local council elections (I didn’t’ get in). When he subsequently did a couple of handyman jobs for us, he revealed his interesting history as a union organiser. Even among the crowdedness of my front garden, Daniel stands out as confident and with a touch of panache, but also warm and self-deprecating.
This painting was a finalist in the FLOW Contemporary Watercolour Prize in 2023.
