Ivanhoe Sunset

2019

In 2018, Steve and I made a road trip to Central Australia. Our first overnight stop was in the little town of Ivanhoe about 780km west of our starting point, Wollongong. The image is based on a photo I took when I went for a walk shortly after we reached the town. Just as the sun was setting, the sky took on an array of deep blue and violet colours and the trees nestled behind the timber houses looked almost black.
