Tristram

My former sister-in-law, Viv posted a black and white photo and a digitally coloured version of ‘Tristram Opie (1805-1865) who lived in Perranwell Station (Perranarworthal), Cornwall’ on her Facebook page. And, I thought I would have a go at interpreting the image in watercolour and ink. I was a tad nervous because Viv is an internationally respected embroiderer who produces very beautiful works and has published books on the craft. When I surprised her with the image, she was pretty thrilled.
