The Tackle

I fell in love with the intensity and intimacy of this image captured on my TV while Steve and I watched our beloved West Coast Eagles battling against Gold Coast Suns in 2024. I saw a sense of desperation and urgency on the faces of the two players on the ground as they struggled for possession of the ball, and support for them by their respective team mates, arms held out wanting there to be a way out of the stalemate.
