Nick

In May 2024, we went to see Nick Cave perform at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre. Playing on his piano and accompanied by just one other singer/guitarist, Nick was a tiny figure on the stage, but his sonorous voice was deeply satisfying to listen to. We don’t go to many concerts, so I was a bit taken aback by the number of people videoing the performance on mobile phones. At first, I was a tad annoyed and then decided that I would permit myself to take just one photo of this wondrous performer.
