Gentlemens Pool, Wollongong

Built in 1881 at a time when it was unacceptable for men and women to swim together, the Gentlemen’s Pool was one of the earliest ocean pools to be built along the NSW coast. Known colloquially as The Rock Pool, this is one of my favourite places to swim in Wollongong.
